*CLAP* Do You Believe in Fairies? *CLAP*

Hello, hello!  Welcome back to another exciting day here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers!  I hope that your week is going well.  Today's post is not a review (yet), but more of an introduction to a bit of fun that I'd like to share with everyone.

As you may or may not know, I am not a big fan of the graphic novel genre as a whole....they just don't seem to capture my attention as they do for other readers.  There are on occasions excepts to every rule, and this is one of them.  It has come to my attention, thanks to Paula at Author Marketing Experts (AME), that Disney Publishing Works, along with all-ages comic publishers Papercutz, is getting ready to release a new set of graphic novels starring.....Tinkerbell and her friends!  Now tell me, what Disney loving fan does not know who Tink is?  I mean really...she is the starter of many a child's wish to be a fairy and her new found friends just add to the fun!  Below you will find a very generous sampling of one of the many stories that will be in the bound additions upon publication....

Look for future posts with additional samples, and a feature post with a review in late March or early April!

Until next time....happy reading!

How cute! I'm not usually a fan of graphic novels either, but I think I'd make an exception for these.

How fun and cute! I'm not much of a princess and cutesy fairies persona, although I don't mind a good graphic novel (Shaun Tan, you should see his stuff!). But alas, I'm afraid my Littlebug is definitely a girlie girl and I'm going to have to get used to the pink fairies & pretty princesses. This one looks really good though, thanks for sharing, can't wait to see what you bring in April!

Now that looks like a fun graphic novel - I love it! :-)

I love Tinkerbell and have recently become a fan of graphic novels. Thank you for posting this!

I did not know this. Well it is something to add to the TBR. I am a big fan of the chapter books and the D fairies books by Gail Carson Levine.

This is nice...Have you seen the Tinkerbell movie?

Juju: Agreed!

Aubrie: Definitely....they are just as colorful and fun in person.

Bella: LOL. Hey, that's what I said! =0)

The1stdaughter: Oooh...graphic novel fan meets princessy pink little girl...now there's a combination! LOL. I think this Disney one might just be a happy compromise....there's a rebel type fairy in it too!

Shannon O'Donnell: Agreed!

Beth Hoffman: Really? Interesting...would have never guessed. I second the love of Tinkerbell....no matter what age the fan, she will carry the fairy magic for one and all.

Cleverly Inked: Actually I have not....not certain if I will, but I have heard of it at the very least. =0) You?
