CONTEST: Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow!

Welcome back fellow insatiable readers!
I trust Monday treated you well and Tuesday looks promising. (If not, I have a pair of rose colored glasses that might just do the trick....they're my own back up set but do the trick every time!) This is the second post of the day as we normally reserve Tuesdays for 'Taste Testing' only (who doesn't like to sample a new book?), but this announcement couldn't wait another day!

Noticed the slew of contests running around here recently? Multiple ones running at the same time (trying not to trip on one another...how some of you do several regularly like this, I will never know....) is not normally the MO for my site...I prefer the calmer one-at-a-time method HOWEVER this is not your average month either. The last day of April (the 30th) is shared by two worthwhile events. First, it's Arbor Day and with any luck we'll have a special review of a selected Peachtree Publishers book celebrating the natural glory of this day live for your reading pleasure!  Second, it's Blogmania 2010!  One day, multiple blogs, many prizes....you get a 24 hour contest from each participant (Yup, I'm one of them!) and there are over 100 so far!  With these added visitors coming through, I wanted to offer the opportunity to win some of these amazing titles to them as well...spread the books, spread the bookish love!  The catch, well, the way we normally due contests is having to go under the knife so to speak....let me explain....

Alrighty, so...to maximize the fun factor and allow you a chance at you another potentially great read, we are going to do this contest a little backwards. You may have noticed in last week's 'In My Shopping Bag' post that I received a copy of Scott Turow's Presumed Innocent for review. (No? You skipped the post? *sniff* It's okay...*shuffles feet*...I understand....) Normally I read the book first, post a review, and then magically a contest appears for all to behold (and enter). This time around we are going to do things a little different. This book is right near the top of my TBR (the little pile, not the hulking large one swaying in the breeze and scaring small children...that one stays in the corner...back I say, back!) and I'll have it finished by month's end, but with the Blogmania 2010 event coming up on Friday, April 30th, I wanted to get the contest up and running so that we maximize the number of readers that get a chance at this book. No worries for those that are already followers...there are a few copies to win on this contest and 1 will be going specifically to an "old" follower. Shall we get to the details? (*hears chanting of we shall, we shall in the background*)
Here we go!

Another competition I'm not able to enter, I'm beginning to get paranoid that people think we, Europeans, can't/don't read - she says laughing.

Petty Witter: Now you know that's not true! Silly reader girl... ^_^ Most of my competitions are that way based on the request of the publisher (etc.)...I do have two coming up (that I know of right now) that will be open to international entries. Don't give up!

Juju: Agreed! He looks like he's having so much fun... =0)
