In My Shopping Bag (61)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's take a peek inside my shopping bag from the past week....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For Review
The Secret Life of Emily Dickinson by Jerome Charyn
(courtesy of Nicole at Tribute Books)
This one will be swinging through on a book tour this February...but having already read the first chapter excerpt, looking forward to it.
Textual Healing by Eric Smith
(courtesy of the author)
First work of fiction from this blogger turned author (among other things) sets us with a male lead character in the midst of quite a few changes in his life.  Snuck a peek inside the cover upon its arrival...should be interesting to see how he takes one day at a time.  Anticipating at least a few laughs as well as several moments of curiosity...
---------------------------------------------
Bought
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Home by Julie Andrews
TY fuzzy little hamster guy names Goodies
So we're looking at two YA additions, a biography that sounds smashing, and a fun little fluffy to pop up in unusual places.  Yep...it was a good shopping week.  ^_^
Araminta Spookie, Book 1:  My Haunted House by Angie Sage
Found the second and third in this series last month....now that book one is in the house, it's time to look into scheduling a read.
GLEE:  The Christmas Album
GLEE:  Love Songs
Ah yes...have I mentioned that I LOVE the show GLEE?
Well, just in case I haven't....I do and the music is ADDICTIVE!
GLEE CD Board Game
*ahem*  See statement above for utter Glee love....  ^_^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That's it for this week.
What goodies arrived at your door?
Do tell!

Until next time....happy reading!

Textual Healing - What a great title.

My Haunted House reminds me of the artwork used on Coraline, don't you think so?

Gina said...

Juju: Yes...too funny. Wonder where they came up with the idea? *ponders*

Petty Witter: That one seems to have caught several people's attention. Great call on the cover art comparison...you're right, it does share a resemblance!

Love the cover of If I Stay, I've been questioning whether to buy a copy myself for that reason.

Also, Glee...can't say I'm surprised. LOL Actually that Christmas album is one I got for my in-laws in fact.
