In Memory of...

Hey guys.
It is with a heavy heart that I write today's post. Yesterday in the wee hours of the morning, another of my little fur babies left this world behind much to my dismay.  Riley was a miniature "painted" dachshund of only 7yrs (approximately as when we adopted him the owners weren't quite certain) and one heck of a cutie. He answered to Riley, RI RI, Mr Riley, and was affectionately called "football"...let's just say food was not his enemy.  When his back was itchy, he'd stand ob his back little legs and stretch as high as he could just to wiggle back and forth on any given corner, at least til "mom" arrived and could help him out. When he'd bark, he would literally bounce off the ground from the force of it..not to mention he sounded like a little hound dog baying at the moon.
He will be missed greatly indeed....and forevermore in our hearts.
RIP my sweet Riley.

I'm so very, very sorry for your loss! It hurts so much when we lose one of our furbabies, but they make our lives so much richer that the pain is worth it. The story of the Rainbow Bridge helped me get through it, so hope it helps you as well. *hugs*

I'm so sorry to hear about your puppy. He looked like a sweet, funny, playful dog, and it sounds like he was very much loved. I hope your hearts heal and the happy memories replace the sad ones very soon.
