In My Shopping Bag (86)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's take a peek inside my shopping bag from this past week....

For Review

The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia by Mary Helen Stefaniak
(Review copy courtesy of Lauren at W.W. Norton)
From the description, this story sounds like it has veins of the infamous To Kill A Mockingbird woven within....can't wait to find out, especially since I loved that classic.  This paperback edition is set for publication September 2011.

Death's Dream Kingdom by Jessica Penot
(Review copy courtesy of the author)
Though outside my usual reads, this sounds like a creepy good time...which will fit perfectly with my October reading list.  Watch for the review to come and in the mean time, check out the author's site for more information!

Indelible by Lani Woodland
(ARC courtesy of Madelyn of Pendrell Publishing)
Sequel to Intrinsical I'm VERY curious to see what life has in store for Yara Silva as she embraces her powers and tries to live a life in balance....doubtful the spirits on campus will allow THAT.  Scheduled release for this one is September 27th, 2011.  Oh and book three is slated for Winter 2012!  Mark your calendars...
