In My Shopping Bag

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)

Let's take a peek inside my shopping bag this week....

Received
...from my good friend Nayuleska over at Nayu's Reading Corner...

The Defense of Thaddeus A. Ledbetter by John Gosselink
Have always been curious about this one.....

by Alexander Gordon Smith & Jamie Webb
Now see this was a selection for both myself and dear old Mom.  I got her hooked on the author's ESCAPE FROM FURNACE series (which she's almost completed!) and she was thirsty for more.  Needless to say I'll have to pry them out of her hands to sneak a peek but trust me...I will at some point.  ^_^  ALSO...he has a new book in the works coming out this May on the UK side of things...stay tuned for more on that...

FUN NOTE:  Due to her affection for his work, she had requested as an upcoming present a SIGNED copy of one of his books.  Unbeknownst to me when this was ordered....book 2 arrived as a SIGNED copy!  *score*  Who-hoo!

That's it for this week.

 So what do you think?
What did YOU get?
Do tell!

Until next time....happy reading!

Nice shopping bag! I like the cover for The Defense of Thaddeus A Ledbetter, and the two Inventors books look good too. Enjoy!

I love finding little treasures of books from across the pond! The Inventors books look so unique, but potentially really good. Can't wait to hear more!

Alexia561: I know, right? That's what first drew me to it once upon a time....

Petty Witter: They remind me of the Disney ROBOTS movie....in a good way. ^_^

The1stdaughter: Yes...definitely a fun find!
