Taste Testing Tuesdays

Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

On the menu this week...a spooky sequel to a fiction series that knows just where to put the BOO to get the chill up your spine.  Ready for a spirited taste?  Here goes...

Ghost Town
by
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson
with Tim Waggoner

Her eyes were wide and staring, and for an awful instant, he thought she was dead.  But then she opened her mouth and vomited a gout of brown water onto his chest.  Her body went slack, as if she were a machine and someone had flicked her off switch, and she collapsed to the floor.

I feel like I should enter a "OooooOOOOoooooOOOOOoooh!" or "Muwhahahahahahahaha!" here or something...and trust me it wouldn't be over dramatic.  The scene you just encountered?  It occurs in a museum; the water is RIVER water.  Anyone have a quick plausible explanation for how she got a hold of a mouth full of that before checking out....I mean in?  Yeah....there's more to it as well, a lot of psychological stuff that well, if you're easily scared, just read this one with the lights on....you'll be fine.  Anywho, thoroughly enjoying it and I have my suspicions about a lot of things...can't wait to see how it all winds up!

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

*Grab your current read

*Open to a random page

*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Until next time....happy reading!
