One of the most prominent news magazines in the U.S., TIME magazine, has declared we are living in a “golden age” of children’s and young adult books. Candlewick Press, a leading independent children’s book publisher based near Boston, Massachusetts, is proud to announce ten titles from its publishing list have been selected for inclusion – all remarkable works of writing and illustrating – that have established themselves as enduring favorites via critical and commercial success. For me I would choose A Monster Calls. It sounds dark and sinister and I love that in a novel. Very much looking forward to that one.

I haven't read any of them, yet. I am interested in them all but would start with Patrick Ness's book. It is one I have read nothing but rave reviews about so I am thoroughly intrigued.
