Image result for all the buzz

Today, we're joining the pre-pub celebration buzz for a NEW TITLE COMING SOON to a bookstore shelf near you via HQN!  It's the third in a series, but speaking from personal experience, it can totally be read as a stand alone...than again, it was SO GOOD, why on earth would you want to read just one?!?!  Am I right?  Of course I least about this 😉 ...and since I'm going to leave it at that, let's get this show on the road!  Ladies and gents, today's book of choice is front and center in all it's pre pub glory waiting for YOU to take a closer look...

Whiskey Sharp, Book 3
Lauren Dane

About the book...
Sometimes what you find isn’t what you were searching for
Beau Petty has been searching his whole life. Searching for a place that fills all the empty spaces in him. Searching for a way to tame the restlessness. Searching for answers to the secret he’s never stopped trying to solve. What he wasn’t searching for was a woman to claim all of him, but when Cora Silvera walks back into his life, he’s ready to search out all the ways he can make her his.

Cora has spent her life as the family nurturer, taking care of others. But now she’s ready to pass that job on to someone else. It’s time to make some changes and live for herself. It’s in that moment that her former teenage crush reappears and the draw and the heat of their instant connection is like nothing either of them has experienced. He craves being around her. She accepts him, dark corners and all.

Beau thinks Cora’s had enough drama in her life. He wants to protect her from the secrets of his past, even if it means holding back the last pieces of himself. But Cora is no pushover and she means to claim all those pieces.

This book was beyond perfect!  Don't believe me?  Well, I'm entitled to my opinion and I'm about to share it with you, so sit back, relax, and...wait no, scratch that.  Grab your WISH LIST and make room for this puppy (oh...PUPPY!  Wait, focus...) because you're not gonna want to miss this!

Truth be told...I was constantly waiting on the other shoe to drop.  Really, who's life could be THIS perfect?  Yes, there were histories to deal with (some rather scarring too!), and parental units to battle, but honestly, Cora's life was like a fairy tale once Beau came into the picture, and wanna know something even better?  Beau recognized that she had the same effect on his life...not something that happens in every story while still keeping the leads masculinity and hotness factor in tact, but boy does he check every box on the list!  You know, the list...the one of all the things you'd LOVE in a match?  Yeah, he's got it...and she's a catch and a half herself!  Despite their perfection, both individually but even more so together, the story didn't seem contrived...though I would have liked to learn a bit more about his past and how it was tying into their present/future.  Seemed like quite the story to be told there...

In the end, I ADORED EVERY MOMENT!  It was ridiculously fun and sexy with a cast of characters you can't help but adore!  From their happenstance reunion to their first kiss, the realigning of lives to the "new addition to the family", the gorgeous house to friends old and new, there is so much to celebrate here, I don't truly know where to start...except to recommend adult Contemporary Romance fans (definitely some sexy times!) to grab a copy next week (release day...woot woot!) and see for yourself! Though it was my first experience with this author's writing, I guarantee it won't be my last.

About the author...

The story goes like this – while on pregnancy bed rest, Lauren Dane had plenty of down time so her husband took her comments about “giving that writing thing a serious go” to heart and brought home a secondhand laptop. She wrote her first book on it before it gave up the ghost. Even better, she sold that book and never looked back.

Today Lauren is a New York Times bestselling author of over fifty novels and novellas across several genres.

Silver Dagger Book Tours presents... WITHIN THE WALLS by Dre Keeton - EXCERPT + GIVEAWAY!

Within the Walls
by Dre Keeton

Genre: Paranormal Romance, Dystopian

Perfect opposites in a far from perfect world.

Jackson and Lenah are from two different worlds. Lenah is among the elite in Sundale City. Jackson, on the other hand, is broke, Psycho Infected and has a criminal record growing by the minute. It’s safe to say, in another life, the two would never have crossed paths.

But when Jackson is assigned to work for Lenah in an effort to use his PI abilities for something productive, things get complicated.

As their worlds collide, they realize how much they’ve both suffered and struggled with the darkness the infection brought the world.

But the closer they become, the more dangerous things get. It isn’t just that PI and human relationships are forbidden, but Lenah's powerful fiancé has no intention of letting her go. And as people in the American Walled Cities start disappearing, Jackson and Lenah discover there's something even more sinister at play than her pending nuptials.

Lenah Noseki strolled from the parking lot, bravely moving toward the cluster of protestors outside. They were a not-so-quiet ambush waiting for her as she made her way toward the hospital.
“Back off!” she yelled at a horde of men and women who pushed into her, trying to block her way to the front doors of the building.
It wasn’t as if she wanted to be there. It wasn’t like she was thrilled to be signing away her brother’s life. Just like them, she longed for the days before the infection. But this was life now.
“I said, ‘Back off!’” Lenah shouted again as a group of women linked arms in front of her.
It had only taken her seven years to get the hang of it, but she’d finally grown accustomed to the pushy nature of selfrighteous protesters. She’d learned the hard way that niceties like “excuse me” didn’t work for these people. They were too blinded by their cause to extend common courtesy.
No, Lenah knew she had to wear her game face with this crowd. The irony was that she agreed with them, for the most part. She wasn’t a fanatic, but the infection sucked. Particularly on a day like today. But that didn’t mean she was going to stand in the street holding up traffic like a raving lunatic. Honestly, who had the time?
Lenah wiped her hands down the sides of her pants, her palms sweating with anticipation as she moved further into the crowd, bursting through human fences and stepping over sitting protesters.
The chaos was starting to get to her. She’d been a seesaw all morning—up and down on how confident she was with her choice.
“Do you not believe in the sanctity of life, young lady?” A graying old man stepped into Lenah’s path. “Every life has the potential to bloom. Don’t give in to the will of the abominations. Protect your loved ones, and don’t offer them up on a silver platter!” he yelled at her as she tried to push past him. His
wrinkled hands held on firmly to a sign that read “Don’t let our lives go over Psycho!”
Lenah rolled her eyes and made an attempt to go around him, but he shifted, determined to complicate her morning. “Move it, old man, or the bloom of your life will end right here and now. No Psycho necessary.” Planting her feet, she narrowed her eyes at him, watching as surprise flickered across his features. He obviously hadn’t been expecting resistance.
He stepped away, drifting back into the crowd, and she smiled after him, feeling like an accomplished badass. They didn’t usually run scared. Things typically turned into a screaming match, but she must have looked extra fierce that morning. Her high-puff ponytail and fitted overalls must have given all of the “don’t f*ck with me” vibes she needed.
She wiped at beads of sweat forming on her forehead, and the corners of her smile inched downward. There was a reason she was extra fierce today. She had to be.
Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as she approached the skyscraping hospital. It was the only one in Sundale, big enough to take up a city block, and it triple-functioned as hospital, feeding center, and mental institution.
She was already exhausted, and the hardest part of her visit hadn’t even started. She stopped in front of the large, PI-proof double doors and sucked in a deep breath. She shivered as she pulled them open and stepped inside.
