Eventually she came to trust us so she's stay around the house (outside still). One day she was outside when our German Shepherd (Zoe) was going out for her walk and you'd think WHOA! Run! Nope. Zoe sniffed the kitty and then let it rub against her legs. They were fast friends! =0)

Alexia561: LOL. Gotta love the "fuzzy" logic our furry friends tend to employ. =0)Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01067420839553243250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-83419004226913730122010-01-28T20:17:05.936-06:002010-01-28T20:17:05.936-06:00Sounds like an adorable book! I think she was convinced that if she couldn't see him, he couldn't see her. :)Alexia561https://www.blogger.com/profile/10797515620050469395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-64314058119961738662010-01-28T17:24:14.204-06:002010-01-28T17:24:14.204-06:00Well, my family was always a cat family (now that ...Well, my family was always a cat family (now that I have my own we are morphing into a dog/cat family) and we had a funny one once. In a house we rented during my middle school years the walls were covered with this weird thatch wallpaper, strange. Well, one day we caught Mickie literally climbing the walls only to perch himself on the wall-mounted speaker next to my bird's hanging cage. He never hurt the bird, in fact it became a daily thing and they would stare and chirp at one another. Very cute.
Great review, sounds like a book I should get my hands on before we bring our Great Dane home. ;o)The1stdaughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06701073212264414302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-66246452486674327882010-01-28T15:31:42.943-06:002010-01-28T15:31:42.943-06:00Petty Witter: Okay, now I simply can't help b...Petty Witter: Okay, now I simply can't help but be curious about those two after THAT description.... =0)

Dorothy: Goodness! I'm glad you were able to catch it in time! I know the various times my dogs have been ill, I worry like no tomorrow until they are back to their old selves again. Thanks for stopping by! (...and thanks for allowing me the chance to participate in this great tour!)

Juju: LOVE the nickname. Come to think of it Ashley had a very long name at one time....it started out something like Ashley Yolanda Stinky-Pants....and went from there. The middle one came from her spunky nature, the last...well, self-explanatory. =0)Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01067420839553243250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-26885952539763408082010-01-28T13:40:26.783-06:002010-01-28T13:40:26.783-06:00My Labrador is an amazing communicator. But a great but painful memory is "saving" Max from dying...ear infection went to abscess and he was dying (even with medication) but we did it...he's enjoying his second life as we speak! I read this book and loved it. I'm a sucker for pet memoirs anyway. Thank you for the review and thank you for participating in Charles' virtual book tour!Dorothyhttp://www.pumpupyourbook.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-85640116360861336932010-01-28T04:21:14.648-06:002010-01-28T04:21:14.648-06:00Good to be back, thanks for your support.
