My daughter was 4 years old, at that time. She had been so excited that she couldn't sleep. Once she was finally asleep (or at least I thought she was!), "Santa" went and put her presents under the tree. A couple of minutes after I finished, I was in bed, and my daughter came running into my room wanting to know if I had heard Santa, because he was just there. She said she was trying to sleep but couldn't, and Santa must have thought she was sleeping, cuz he was there. She heard him! She even heard the bells (yeah, I tripped over the cat's toy ball, with a bell in it.)!! So, she just pretended she was sleeping so that he would give her presents! But now she wants to see him, so of course we have to go check. I opened up the front door, and we stood on the porch, and an airplane flew by. Of course, because of the flashing red light, my daughter assumed it was Rudolph! She was so happy. She had heard Santa, and watched him fly back to the North Pole!! The smile on her face was priceless.

lovemykidsandbooks AT gmail DOT comLuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15406358193003579148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6042548341447954983.post-35659403643616797282010-10-10T19:50:05.965-05:002010-10-10T19:50:05.965-05:00Every year my husband and I take my grandmother to...Every year my husband and I take my grandmother to see a christmas themed play or something like The Nutcracker. I was pregnant and it didn't fit my ring finger so I was wearing it on another finger but it didn't exactly fit and I lost in somewhere in the grocery store.

Well my husband got me a replacement for Christmas and my daughter also got me one at their Santa's workshop at school. Goldplated with 5 "diamonds". She was 7 years old. It was the best present I ever got.

After the holidays all the moms who volunteered at the workshop told me how she told them about me losing my ring and they had to help her find a "wedding ring" for her mom.
