Taste Testing Tuesdays (2)

Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays!
Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.  In order to have a more copacetic fit (and since the meme didn't list any prohibition to doing this), I adjusted the title for my blog and credited the original creator (Cuz I'm good like that...yo....ahem...moving on....).

On the menu this week is a sample of the book I'm currently reading (okay, I actually JUST finished it in the wee hours of the morning, but still gonna use it)....just enough to make you wonder, without enough to give it away....

"Hey, 'Lumps-For-Brains'; lay off the spear action already.  My butt is not for target practice." -- pg 70, "Nightsweats in Bigelow Hollow" by M.J. Claire

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

*Grab your current read

*Open to a random page

*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Until next time....happy reading!

  2. Bella: Believe it or not, THAT's what drew me in! Okay, so really the little Yorkie the girl is carrying did it, but it was the cover none-the-less. Definitely glad I read it, it was so much fun! Review coming soon... =0)

  3. I also love the cover though I can't quite make up my mind if the bear is supposed to be looking 'grizzly' or not. He looks kind of cute to me. I love your two teasers as well - very funny.

  4. Petty Witter: Very persceptive! Can't say more about it or it would ruin the story, but definitely good observation. =0)
