Taste Testing Tuesdays (8)

Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays!
Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading

On the menu this week is a sample of one book that I'm dying to finish (alas, holiday interruptions abound) and a second one that will be completed in a flash as it is a children's book, but I couldn't help but share (the cover is too cute).  Let's take a taste, shall we?

"As I followed her down the hall toward the front door, I stopped for a moment and looked down at my feet.  And as sure as my name is Cecelia Rose Honeycutt, I felt the life of that old house humming through the soles of my shoes.  -- pg 258, Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman (ARC)

The sweet spring breeze blew against their noses.  The smaller puppy twiched her whiskers and sneezed.  -- pg 10, We Are Puppies by Molly Grooms and Andrey Troshkov

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

*Grab your current read

*Open to a random page

*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Until next time....happy reading!
