Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week ... one read set to visit on a blog tour next week, a second you have a chance to win a copy of, and a third that shall linger on a few of these posts, but I'm certain you won't mind.
Let's have a taste, shall we?
There was no proper lighting, just strings of lights handing from the ceiling that barely pierce the thick darkness. It was hard to see, and the tin walls of the enormous shed made the noise echo and vibrate -- there was such a wild cacophony of music and laughter and shouting and people that walking inside was disorienting, even a little frightening. -- pg 106, Beautiful Malice by Rebecca James (ARC)
This one will be visiting on a blog tour next week, but I am rather curious to see what happens as a few fellow readers have expressed some concerns regarding the content. We shall see....
She realized that if the guitar were anywhere it was probably in Eric's room, but even Delilah had no intention of entering the bedroom of a fifteen-year-old boy. Ha! If Andrea caught Delilah in there, she would have her arrested. -- pg 162, The Castaways by Elin Hilderbrand
Okay, this quote makes it sound so risque which I don't really gather from the cover....shall be interesting to dive into this one over the next few days....
A few lights were burning in the upper level of the farmhouse, but since I didn't see my mom's face pressed up against any of the windows, I figured we had some time. I unlatched my seat belt and bent across the console, finding Patch's mouth in the darkness. -- pg 22, Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
Oooooooooh! Nora, are you taking advantage of the situation? I mean being alone, in the car...with Patch...how could you...oh never mind. Who am I kidding? Who wouldn't! ^_^

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR.*

Until next time....happy reading!
