In My Shopping Bag (52)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's see what's inside this week...

Review
Toto's Tale by K.D. Hays and Meg Weidman
Will be reviewing this one in time for the blog tour stopping by later this month!  Can't wait to see what Toto has to say about little miss Dorothy's adventure....should be good.

Repairing Rainbows by Lynda Fishman
(courtesy of the author)
Being a true life story, this one sounds like it may be necessary to have the tissues at the ready but you know what, life is like that sometimes.  Interested to see what became of this family after tragedy touched their lives...

The Christmas Chronicles:  The Legend of Santa Claus by Tim Slover
As soon as I saw this book available via the book tour, I jumped at the chance.  I mean really, how can you pass up a book on SANTA CLAUSE!  Appropriately enough, the blog tour will be making the rounds here this December...and there may even be a chance for YOU to win a copy too!  Stay tuned....

The Winter of Our Disconnect by Susan Maushart
Do you see the subtitle there?  Yeah, I think most people can identify with this one nowadays (*raises hand*) but I am very curious to see how they grinned and bared it all....should be interesting.  Release date is scheduled for January 2011 on this one.

The Boy Sherlock Holmes, His Third Case:  Vanishing Girl by Shane Peacock
Yes, it's the third in a series.  No, I probably won't be reading the others first.  Why?  Well, from what I understand, these books can be read and enjoyed on their own, so we'll take a stab at it and see....
