Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week...a book I just started the other day and so far is proving to be rather interesting. Ready for a taste? Here it comes....

Ally wakes me early on Saturday morning so I take her to the park before coaching. Summer vanished in the night, chased by a cruel cold front. We shiver in sweaters while the wind blows all the color off the trees.-- pg 95, All Good Children by Catherine Austen (ARC)
How's that for a description? I can literally feel the cold air swirling around me now. The society this book is situated in is a curious one indeed....but some things, are not so far fetched considering the world as it is in the here and now. For more information on this title, check out the author's website....and don't forget about the blog tour swinging through later this month!

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR.*

Until next time....happy reading!
Descriptive. Sounds like the narrator doesn't like winter :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm hooked!
ReplyDeleteAs you say a wonderful description, perfect for this blustery November day in England.
