Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week...a quick reminder to LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD and vote for the Independent Book Blogger Awards! If you'd care to vote for my site, feel free to click the VOTE button at the top of the right hand column....and THANK YOU! Now back to our tasty selection of the day from a YA author you may know and love comes a NEW series to sink your teeth into.
Ready for a taste? Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"What is wrong with you?" I snarled, biting the words off through my fangs, which had sprouted again. "I'm getting a little tired of being dragged, cut, hit, yanked, and ordered around whenever you please. I'm not a damn pet."-- pg 148, Blood of Eden, Book 1: The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa (ARC)
Pardon the four letter word but when I randomly turned to a page in the book, this quote just jumped out at me. Now I just need to know WHO is being held back by WHOM and WHAT their plan is! *must read faster* Watch for this new series to begin May 2012.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Until next time....happy reading!
LOL
