Hi there!
Welcome back to the weekend edition of Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers....the place to be any day of the week you're in the mood for a potentially great read.
Today's featured title is no different. Its length is much shorter than your average selection as it is a storybook but the content is well above average. Its a book about a book that a boy absolutely LOVES and you know what? Now I love it too! Without further ado, today's book of choice is...
THE BOOK THAT I LOVE TO READ

Pretty cool, right? From the moment you scope out the cover/title to the first turn of the page, you'll find yourself enraptured by this adorable tale. Our lead character remains nameless (which actually works well for the story and makes it easier for readers to step into his shoes) but his affection for his favorite book is crystal clear. He takes it everywhere. He does everything with it. It's his constant companion...and with good reason! It contains everything he loves, no lie.
You want Pirates? This book has it. You want monsters? This book has it. You want colors and laughter and cool words? This book has all that too! In fact, there isn't much that this book doesn't have...no wonder he loves it so much! There's even an inclusion of something his book doesn't have but now does thanks to his sister....too funny.
Given the chance, this is one book I can guarantee you'll claim a love for by the final page. It's cute. It's quirky. It's fun with a capital "F". A definite recommendation for all ages and anyone anywhere who has ever loved a book. Hey, maybe if you're lucky he'll let it be YOUR favorite too; then again...I wouldn't count on him sharing it for long.
This book is currently out and available for purchase on a bookstore shelf near you. Review copy read in store on break...ah yes, tis the folly of working within arms length of various titles all day long.
Until next time...happy reading!
Cute, quirky, fun ....... and it has a great cover. Sounds like an ideal read for both the young and young at heart.
