Hello, hello!
Welcome back to the place to be for all the bookish fun you can handle this holiday reading season...Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.
THIRD TOUR of the day and I must say, I saved one of the best for last. It's a stopover via TLC Book Tours featuring Harlequin's Winter 2019 Christmas Tour - The 12 Days of Christmas! I know, I know...I just quoted the title of the post (mostly), but it needed repeating. This tour features SO MANY fabulous holiday romance titles that I simply don't even know where to start! I mean just look at the graphic! Tell me that there aren't at least four titles ALREADY ON your MUST READ list...and I'll tell you that Santa is watching you, so you best not fib! Honestly, there are at least NINE of those on my wish list, two of which I've read, and one of which I have the pleasure of featuring for you today!
My stop on this bookish spectacular stars the latest add to the Gold Valley series by none other than Maisey Yates, and let me tell you, I totally squee'd with joy when I found out I scored the spot because HELLO....Maisey Yates! Love her work! Anyway, so that I don't get further side tracked, we're gonna dive right in to today's book of choice...

About the book...
As snowflakes fall in Gold Valley, Oregon, will this rugged cowboy finally win the woman of his dreams?
Cowboy Caleb Dalton has loved single mom Ellie Bell, and her little daughter, Amelia, for years. But since Ellie is his best friend’s widow, Caleb’s head knows Ellie will always be strictly off-limits. If only his heart got the memo. So when Caleb discovers that Ellie has a Christmas wish list—and hopes for a kiss under the mistletoe—he’s throwing his cowboy hat into the ring. If anyone’s going to be kissing Ellie and sharing this magical time with her and her daughter, it’s him.
Ellie has dreaded the holidays since losing her husband. But this year, she’s finally ready to make some changes. She never expects the biggest change to be the heart-stopping kiss she shares with Caleb. For almost five years, Caleb has been her best friend, her rock, her salvation. This Christmas, can Caleb prove he’s also the missing puzzle piece of Ellie’s and Amelia’s hearts?

Sounds good, right?
Well then, you're gonna love this next part EVEN MORE!

~~~ EXCERPT ~~~
She tried to figure out exactly what the feeling was as she watched his truck disappear down her driveway. Then she turned and walked to her porch, sitting down on the bottom step.
“What is wrong with me?”
And suddenly, it hit her.
He was moving on, and she hadn’t.
It was different, because of course, he had been Clint’s best friend. She’d been Clint’s wife. So Caleb moving on from the whole situation was easier. More expected.
But she wished… Well, she wished for a whole lot of things.
Things that were coming up more and more often. Her best female friend at the moment was Vanessa Logan. Vanessa was pregnant, getting ready to have a baby with her husband, Jacob, a man who loved her so much that just looking at the two of them together made Ellie’s whole body hurt.
She didn’t want that. She didn’t want to fall in love. She didn’t want a relationship. But she wanted…
It would be nice to be kissed under the mistletoe, maybe. To have something to wear a dress to. To go dancing in that dress.
And suddenly, those thoughts she had in the chicken coop, about those moments that felt out of her life, that felt like an escape, crystallized.
That was what she wanted. Just some moments. To feel like something other than a tired single mother, or a sad, grieving widow.
A moment to feel like a woman.
Maybe she needed to make some changes, too.
Maybe, instead of dreading Christmas, she needed to get started on her wish list.
So, I've got to tell you, I LOVED THIS BOOK!
Okay, okay, I pretty much say that about this ENTIRE SERIES, but really...is it my fault that they're so good? No, that's right...so, is there any reason why I shouldn't shout that love from the hilltops ala Sound of Music? That's what I thought...though I'm probably gonna settle for telling those near and far in person and through the net.
This was such a sweet story about two lost souls getting the chance to love and live again. The chemistry was there just below the surface, waiting for the right moment to be revealed, and boy when it was...FIREWORKS! Caleb has lived an interesting and somewhat dangerous life, but he cares for and protects those he loves...including those he never thought he'd actually be able to tell he loved...with a passion. Ellie was such a sweet soul, dedicated to her daughter and the memory of her husband taken too soon, but so full of life and with such a big heart that being by herself forevermore just didn't feel in the cards for her. Watching her grown up Christmas List come true was heart-meltingly amazing and the love affair that comes of it all couldn't happen to a better duo.
So, if you like a bit of romance in your holiday reading, this book is TOTALLY for you!
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Maisey Yates lives in rural Oregon with her three children and her husband, whose chiseled jaw and arresting features continue to make her swoon. Since then it’s been a whirlwind of sexy alpha males and happily ever afters, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Maisey divides her writing time between dark, passionate category romances set just about everywhere on earth and light sexy contemporary romances set practically in her back yard.
