About the book...
People think they know Jase Connors: Former front man for Kings Quarters. Successful solo artist. Consummate playboy. What they don’t know is he’s tired from road life. Tired of road life. Just plain tired.

When a beloved high school teacher passes away, Jase returns to his Midwestern childhood home to honor the teacher’s final wishes. Sparks fly when he’s reunited with his childhood best friend, Cami, and is forced to confront choices that made him the man he is today.

Dear Future Self is a 23,000-word novella spin-off of award-winning Starfish: A Rock Star Romance. It can be read as a stand-alone and guarantees a happily ever after. For mature readers only.

Jase Connors had it all...
...the life, the lights, the ladies, the career, the money...
...he was living the life, and nothing changed when he went solo...
...until one phone call brings him home...
...heart and soul.

Sometimes it's those unexpected stopovers in life that leave us really finding ourselves and such is the case here with our pal Jason aka Jase.  His friends were settling down or attaching themselves in some fashion, and little by little, his glitzy rebel without a cause solo bit was growing old.  But no one wants to hear about a rock star that's feeling a little less than every bit the shiny persona they know him to be.  So on his merry way he went, until life pulled the rug out from under him and a bit of forced proximity later, he rediscovers the boy he use to be, the life he could have lived, and the person he could have shared it all with...and perhaps even a second chance to get it right.

Admittedly, I liked Jason better than Jase, but when the characters were able to merge, you got the best of both worlds.  I really adored our girl Cami, though.  She had so much on her plate, but it was never too much to help someone in need; whether it was money, time, energy, or company, you could count on her.  So glad she rubbed off on him...and I'm more than certain he is too!  (*smirk*)

All in all, a steamy little addition to the rock star world we came to know in Starfish and the perfect quickie for your weeknight read.  Just, you know....adults only.
