Happy Friday to each and everyone. Today's post is short and sweet....well okay, maybe sweet is the wrong term and short is definitely NOT the case. Anywho....today's roving reader find is....

The Ogre of Oglefort
By
Eva Ibbotson

I'm loving the artwork and the expressive faces the characters are adorned with...not to mention the title sounds like fun!  This author is known for her adventures so I'm certainly curious to check this one out. How bout you?

So now it's up to you readers. What caught your eye when out and about?
Do tell!

Have a great weekend.....and happy reading!

  2. Looks super cute! (Kinda reminds me of the scene in Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone when the trio face the troll in the bathroom). The artwork is definitely adorable and I can see MG readers loving it!

(re: books that caught my attention this week--I picked up Clean by Amy Reed. It's about teens in a detox/rehab center and looks like a really gripping story. Can't wait to start reading it!)
