Hello, everyone!
Happy Wednesday to each and every one of you! Hopefully your week is going well...either way it's half over now so that has to be good news at the very least. Anywho...
You may or may not (I'd like to think "may" though...) seen my last post. It was a review for the recent release by Garth Stein, Raven Stole the Moon. It's a wonderful story combining the dynamics of family life, love, and loss, with native mystical lore....it gives you the best of the fictious world but allows for a tether to real-life. One of the stories relayed to the reader is the Tlingit's belief of how the sun, moon, and stars came to be. According to legend, Raven (of whom you learn more about in the book, as well as through your own research) was envious of another man's treasures. He devises a way to get his hands on them (read as steal them...rather crafty too) and releases them to the heavens for all to see.
Raven may have stolen the moon, but YOU get the chance to win your own copy of this great new novel far and square! Thanks to Sarah at Terra Communications (THANK YOU), I have the pleasure of hosting this giveaway....let's get to the details, shall we?
