Taste Testing Tuesdays (52)

Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!

Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers!  Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. 

On the menu this week ... one book that I'm almost through with and another that I am taking my time with (sort of).

This part is a little inner monologue as out lead character, Karen Vail, realizes a deadline is fast approaching.  The book started off with a bang...let's see if it finishes that way...

Apparently the 1920s are really the new "IT" thing right now, in YA at the very least.  Reading this one in conjunction with the B&N First Look Club...and enjoying getting to know the characters (and from what I've read thus far about Gloria...this scene takes her a bit out of her element...).
