WINNER: Horns by Joe Hill

Hi everyone!
It's me again.  Time to announce a winner of the recently ended contest here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.  This time around it was a "devil of a contest" where if you solved the Morris Code message, you gained a few extra entries.  The randomly selected winner DID in fact solve the code (as did several other entrants...good job!) and so I present to you the "big" reveail.

Code:

Message:

Until next time happy reading
(Hehe, pretty easy yet fun, right?)

Without further adieu, the winner is...

#2 - Kaitlyn in Bookland

*and the crowd erupts with enthusiastic cheers*
Congratulations!  You have won your very own copy of Horns by Joe Hill!

The winner has been contacted and since they opted to include their mailing information, I don't have to vaguely promise to draw another name if I don't get a response; it's a done deal.  Special thanks to HarperCollins Publishers for the chance to share this title with you, my readers...and the chance to host this giveaway.  (THANKS!)  For more information on this book as well as their full catalog, check out the website

Now if you didn't win this time, no worries...there will be other contests up and running very soon.  Just remember, you can't win if you don't enter ...so stay tuned.

Until next time...and happy reading!

  2. Huge congrats!!! Enjoy!

Okay, Gina, I have to tell you! The day that I finally got around to reading your review of this (I think it was the review, maybe giveaway? Brain not working... lol) Anyhoo, I read the morris code that you posted and that day after school, my daughter brought home a notebook sheet of paper filled with Morris Code symbols and a riddle. Turns out her and her friend are doing this as their own "secret" language! Lol! Thought it was pretty cool for an 8 year old to be doing.
