QUICKIE REVIEW...

If you like books filled with super heroes, action, adventure, friendship, and heart...this one is a definite bet for your "must read" list!  You get to know the characters as if you are one of the crew.  You have the inside scoop on the dastardly deeds that you're trying to avert.  You have the chance to see the good side and troublesome side of having actual super powers....something we'll get to a little more in a moment...and all the while, you're holding your breath to see if they can actually pull together to pull it off and save the day!  Okay, so back to those SUPER POWERS...

Number 5...

FLAME

Call me a safety nerd, but I'm not so sure that I'd want to have to harness this power because if I wasn't to have complete control of it...well, let's just say that some meet a rather FLAME-boyant end in the book when accidents happen.  Eeek!

Number 4...

FLYING

Why number 4?  Well, the whole go anywhere at anytime bit with the freedom to roam sounds lovely, but I'm not as keen on the lack of safety net, and open heights, so yeah.  Plus, so not thinking a cape would do much for me, and too many have met their end with them anyway.  *gulp*

Number 3...

SUPER SPEED

Again, the freedom, the ability to laugh time in the face, but I'm not the most graceful at times and I do believe I might run smack into things in my haste!  More power to those that have that control needed to work this power for all it's worth!

Number 2...

TELEPORTATION

Now this one I can get behind because for the most part, it's full proof!  As long as all of me ended up where I was desiring to go, I'm SO IN!  Can you imagine?  Need a vacation?  POOF!  A trip to the bookstore/library after hours?  No problem!  *wink wink*

Number 1...

INVISIBILITY

You know, sometimes I feel like I have this power already, but it's not always a bad thing.  You can learn a lot from going unobserved and doin the observing.  You can gain a lot of knowledge, a lot of insight, not to mention peace and quiet, when you stop being the scene and start taking it in.

...but don't let me have all the fun!
