TLC Book Tours presents... THE WEDDING CRASHER AND THE COWBOY by Robin Bielman - REVIEW!

HI guys!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.

Today, we're joining TLC Book Tours for a BOOK-abration featuring a NEW Contemporary Romance title out now via Entangled Amara.  For those looking for their favorite trope, this one is a combination second chances, enemies-to-lovers, and a little bit of western added in for good measure.  What it amounts to is a great story that you'll love to get lost between the pages of as you try to figure out just who will fall harder for whom!  Ladies and gents, may I present today's blog tour guest and book of choice...

About the book...
Kennedy Martin is shocked when her ex calls days before his wedding, expressing serious second thoughts. Doesn’t he see his fiancĂ©e's actually the glaze to his doughnut? Now Kennedy has no choice but to crash his wedding and convince the man he’s with the right woman.

Instead, she crashes into the absolute last man she ever wanted to see: Maverick Owens, her old college nemesis. Maverick is still as awful, infuriating, and just The Worst as ever—even if he looks way too sexy in his cowboy hat. And of course he’s convinced she’s actually at the seaside ranch to ruin the wedding.

Now the only way to get some face time with the groom and save this marriage is to participate in all sorts of pre-wedding events…with Maverick. Stuck on a canoe, making small-talk at cocktail hour, and even a hoedown with her worst enemy? This just might be the longest week of her life…

What would you do if you're best friend called you out of the blue, drunk off their behind, and spouting regrets about their upcoming marriage plans?  Would you write it off as old feet, tell them to sober up, and call you in the morning?  Or would you take them at their alcohol fueled word, rush to their side to get the real scoop, and possibly cause their marriage to end before it even begins?  Tricky question, seeing as you don't know all the ins and outs of either party, but for the sake of our time, I'll let you in on a secret...our leading lady choice the second option!

That's right!  Kennedy is loyal to a fault and while she's not looking to mess with the potentially happy couples nuptials, she can't just stand by and let her friend go into something with a cloudy heart.  There's a catch though.  Following her instincts is going to place her square in the sights of her college nemesis, or at least the person she loved to rile up and whom equally enjoyed riling her back...Maverick.  Just as hi name implies, he's a bit of a cowboy, but don't let the hat fool you...he's as sharp as he is fine!  Once upon a time, he aimed for greater things, but as they say, life got in the way, and now, his greater thing is focused more so on the family business.  Despite his feeling towards her, for better or worse, he won't stand by and watch her bring the wedding party and the venues reputation (the aforementioned family business) go down in flames.  He's gonna keep an eye on her, and whether he likes it or not, he'll make sure she stays on the straight and narrow...and maybe have a little fun along the way made of equal parts driving her crazy, and being taken in by her very presence, and huge heart.

I loved the premise for this one and the back story for the characters.  She was all go getter with a streak of shyness, and he was all bravado built up with quiet strength.  They both had minds meant to be challenged and goals they wished to achieve, but it doesn't mean that wish upon a star came true for them both.  Sometimes, life intervenes with special people, special souls that need our attention for the here and now, leaving our obligations to fall by the wayside.  Such was the case for each of them, albeit in two different ways, and in the end, they were better for the connections they forged.  It allowed them to bridge the gap between them in order to open the door to a future neither could have imagined...but the real question is, will they walk through it?  You'll have to read it to find out!

A great pick for Contemporary Romance and Cowboy/Western Romance readers with enough laughs, enough smiles, and enough sweet moments to make it a read come true.

About the author....

Robin Bielman is the USA Today bestselling author of over fifteen novels. When not attached to her laptop, she loves to read, go to the beach, frequent coffee shops (and by frequent she means daily but she's trying to break the habit), and spend time with her high school sweetheart husband and two sons. Her fondness for swoon-worthy heroes who flirt and stumble upon the girl they can’t live without jumpstarts most of her story ideas. She writes with a steady stream of caffeine nearby (see above) and the best dog on the planet, Harry, by her side. She also dreams of traveling to faraway places and loves to connect with readers. Keep in touch on social! xoxo
