BOOK SPOTLIGHT: The Thousand Year Curse by Taylor Lavati

HI guys!
Welcome back to the place that aims to start your week off right, bookishly of course....Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers!

This weekend has been spotlight central but guess what?  There are A LOT of great titles out there and as much as I would like to read them all like PRONTO, there are still only 24 hours in a day and my formula for "time-on-demand" has not made it out of the beta stages yet so until it does, alas...I can't read them ALL despite my deepest desires.  So, my way of celebrating in spite of it all?  The SPOTLIGHT post!

Today's BOOK SPOTLIGHT belongs to a young, up and coming author who is celebrating the very recent release of her first published work...but as she assures us, it's just the beginning of all that is to come.  Ready to READ ALL ABOUT IT?  Here we go!

The Curse Books, Book 1:
by
Taylor Lavati

Being a teenager isn't all fun and games for seventeen year old Ryder. After being thrown down the social hierarchy, Ryder Mason has one goal for her senior year- survive. Within the first month of school, Ryder goes from bullied teen to a cursed half goddess with two boyfriends. As if that wasn't enough, she travels into the Underworld to confront Hades about the curse and her missing mother. Ryder delves head first into a Godly world as her two knights fight to seek her approval, her best friend's loyalties are tested and people's true intentions are shown in the first Curse Books novel.
*Author Disclaimer*
Book contains adult situations. (For younger audiences skip chapter 16)

Ooooh....
Sounds good to me, how about you?
Also, I appreciate her candid disclosure of potentially "older" scenes; allows younger readers a chance to experience the story as well without too early an exposure to adult situations.

As you read in the title there, this is the first book in a planned series so get in on the reading fun from the ground floor up!  This title is available now in ebook and paperback forms.  Need a few leads for purchasing purposes?  Wish granted!
