RRR presents...A Warriner to Tempt Her by Virginia Heath - REVIEW + GIVEAWAY!

Hi there!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.

Today, we're joining up with Rachel's Random Resources for a Regency Romance blog tour sure to set your her loving heart on fire.  It's book three in the Wild Warriners series from new-to-me author Virginia Heath, but read perfectly fine as a standalone...considering my own experience, purely...though, again considering my experience, I'm not certain why you'd want to stop there.  In fact, I have this book and the one prior winging their way to me now (in print) if that tells you anything.  ^-^  Anyway, for those longing to steep themselves in a new Historical Fiction find, or even for those simply looking for a great read (genre fan or not), I give you today's blog tour guest and book of choice...

About the book...
A shy innocent wary of all men…

After a shocking incident, shy Lady Isabella Beaumont is perfectly happy to stay in the background and let her sister get all the attention from handsome suitors! However, working with Dr. Joseph Warriner to help the sick and needy pushes her closer to a man than she’s ever been before. Is this man worth trusting with her deepest of desires…?

Once upon a time, I didn't really read Romance titles.  It just wasn't my thing...until it was...and now I find myself branching out into other areas of the varied genre because really and truly, there are so many areas to explore!  While still a Contemporary fan at heart, now and then other titles speak to me, and this one happened to be one of them (of course it doesn't hurt that the cover was easy on the eyes either...).  So, I took off on a Historical Romance adventure expecting, well...not quite knowing what I'd find, but you know what?  I LOVED IT.

It was brilliant! It was lovely.  It was...yeah, all the good adjectives you could possibly think of! Dr. Warriner was such a breath of fresh air for his time (or any for that matter).  He really and truly was led by his mind and as wonderful as it was, it left his heart playing catch up, and his feelings backpedaling to find the right balance at the right time.  While not the suave-est of the Warriner brothers, he was the ultimate catch...not that Bella would notice.  I'd say "poor Bella" because honestly, what she went through was horrible (both "the incident" and the aftermath) but in truth, she wasn't "poor" at all...simply a little lost, a lot affected by what transpired (no one could blame her), betrayed by those that should have stood closed mouth (I SO wanted to punch that person right in the face), and ultimately vindicated.  That's right, vindicated...and honestly, while she had some help in that department, if it wasn't for her own strength and merit, it still wouldn't have happened.

In the end, it was a remarkable story to get lost in with characters to root for, causes to stand behind, ignorance to uproot, and people to show what's for. Most got what they deserved in the end, in one way or another, and the town as well as townspeople were better for it.  Dr. Warriner and Bella truly shine on all on their own, but together...the possibilities are endless...that is if they end up together.  Hey, I can't spoil it entirely for you!  ^-^

About the author...

When Virginia Heath was a little girl it took her ages to fall asleep, so she made up stories in her head to help pass the time while she was staring at the ceiling. As she got older, the stories became more complicated, sometimes taking weeks to get to the happy ending. Then one day, she decided to embrace the insomnia and start writing them down. Fortunately, the lovely people at Harlequin took pity on her and decided to publish her romances, but it still takes her forever to fall asleep.
