About the book...
The cast of the runaway bestseller, The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay, are back – including Rosa, Josh, Mary, Jacob, Sheila, new mum Titch and, last but by no means least, Hot, the adorable dachshund.

Newly wed, and with her inherited corner shop successfully up and running, Rosa Smith seems to have all that anyone could wish for. But the course of true love never did run smooth and Rosa’s suspicions that her husband is having an affair have dire consequences.

Reaching rock bottom before she can climb back up to the top, fragile Rosa is forced to face her fears, addiction and jealousy head on.

With a selection of meddling locals still at large, a mystery fire and Titch’s frantic search for the real father of her sick baby, the second book in this enchanting series will take you on a further unpredictable journey of self-discovery.

~~~ EXCERPT ~~~
An extract from Meet Me in Cockleberry Bay – so just where is Josh taking Rosa for a mini break?
In true Josh style, Thursday’s treat had been arranged with military precision. Titch had arrived at the shop with Theo and her overnight bag at midday.
‘I can’t talk to you, Rosa, ’cos you know how bad I am at keeping secrets, but you’re to go upstairs and get yourself ready. Take my bag up with you, can you, please? I’m staying for a couple of nights with meladdo here, then your mum is coming in on Saturday, so we can both mind the shop and him.’
‘Come on, Titch, tell me what’s going on.’
Titch pulled an imaginary zip across her mouth, then got on with sweeping the shop floor, tidying up the stock and dusting the shelves. There was always plenty to do.
‘Aw, you look amazing!’ she exclaimed as Rosa clunked back downstairs later, carrying her own overnight case. ‘I love that red jumper; it so suits you and look at you with high-heeled boots for a change.’
‘Do you know, whilst I was getting ready, I realised how few times I do get dressed up these days. I should do it more often or Josh will be running off with his secretary.’
‘Shush, you. Right, Jacob’s here.’
‘Lady Smith.’ Jacob put Rosa’s case in the boot of his car and held the front passenger door open for her. ‘Go get Hot and his lead, darling, as he’s coming too for the ride but then he’s got a play date with the boys and the Duchess.’
‘Dartmouth?’
‘No.’ Jacob turned left just as Rosa spotted the sign.
‘Dittisham? Ooh, I’ve never been here before. What’s it like?’
‘Listen, you townie, it’s pronounced “Ditsum”.’ Jacob said no more for fear of letting the secret out.
After a few minutes he told her, ‘Right, this is us. I’m dropping you here, young lady. Your instructions are that you need to walk down the hill and ring the bell at the end of the jetty next to the Ferry Boat Inn.’
