About the book...
Shhh! Be very quiet. The rascally dragon is finally asleep. But, when the page turned, the breeze blew the door shut with a BANG! Did it wake up the dragon? Create a fantastic bedtime experience by reading this interactive story featuring a reluctant-to-sleep dragon—a character that children will surely relate! Designed to be read aloud, parents will take pleasure in the playful text as much as children will enjoy hearing it. When the story finally comes to an end, and the gentle lullaby is repeated, the dragon – and your child! – are encouraged to drift off to sleep.

Once upon a time, there was a dragon who was a bit hard to put to bed...and in this story, the dragon may start out in bed, but keeping her there is going to be a challenge. With every turn of the page, every ....
...clang of the pans, every knock on the door, and BOOM of a party drum, brings you one step closer to disturbing her slumber. It's not for fear of being eaten or fricasseed, but rather having to get her to go BACK to sleep! So whatever you do...DON'T WAKE THE DRAGON!
Honestly, this was a delightful tale with gorgeous illustrations and a continual invitation for readers to participate in both keeping the rascally dragon asleep and warding off all the unusual nighttime disturbances that seem to plague this particular castle! You'll dance your way through the party, bang on the drum to get everyone's attention, turn pages EXTRA carefully, and even rock-a-bye the book as you join the fun. Watch for the special touches in the illustrations that catch you off guard, especially the cat and mouse who try rather valiantly themselves to keep our fire breathing friend asleep, and have a ball, just quietly, as you read through this adorable work with your favorite little readers.
