As the synopsis suggests, this IS a rhyming Picture Book adventure with a lady and her dog leading you from page to page...and they are a joy to behold! The "something else" I was alluding to in my intro is that this isn't merely a colorfully illustrated story to enjoy as the pup romps into and out of trouble, but a LEARNING TOOL as well! That's right. The author created it and utilizes it to help teach English abroad, or more specifically, to those under her tutelage in China! Pretty nifty, right? The pictures help relate the simple story text to the words they are trying to learn with beauty and flair, while the rhyme and meter assist in getting through those tongue twister words and sentences our language is known for!
So get to know Clare, whether she is on a tear, staring in despair, or daring at the fair! Any place they go, there's bound to be an adventure, some fun to be had, and new words to learn and pair!

About the author...
Lindy Nelson is an American who has spent most of her adult life teaching English in China after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. She enjoys arts and crafts, funny memes, eating candy, and of course, spending time with her greyhound, Clarence.
