Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays!
Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week...we have one ARC that you've probably seen many teasers of on this fine day, but I will venture to share one that has not been posted yet...PLUS one more sampling of an eBook that is lingering by my side just waiting to be finished.
Let's take a taste, shall we?
A fourth note arrives just before class ends. It's in the form of a miniature airplane, and it literally sails to me, landing with a whisper on my desk just as Mr. Daimler turns back from writing an equation on the board. It's so perfect I hate to touch it, but I unfold its wings, and there's a message written in neat block letters. -- pg 202, Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (ARC)
She found herself standing on a cliff, overlooking a vast and harrowing sea. The waves surged, throwing themselves at the rocks below as if in battle with the earth. A single dwelling stood like a ramshackle heap of sod and sticks, thrown together by someone half blind. -- pg 86, Dreams of Beauty by Aubrie Dionne
