Are you an avid reader looking for your next "fix"? Can't bear to be without some form of reading material in your spare time? Welcome to my world! Whether you are seeking a new book to "feed your need", or you are an author seeking an unbiased point of view on your own recent masterpiece, this is the place to be. With life as with books, you never know where the next step might take you...

QUICK NOTE...Update: 1/2/19

The blog is slowly coming back on line. We were right in the path of Hurricane Michael (like so many others), and while the family is safe (pups, and parents), the house didn't fair as well. So, reading and blogging (as much as I adore it) have to take a back burner. I've finally reached a stage in all this chaos that I feel that I can try to take a few baby steps back into the blogging world. A post here, a post there, and who knows. Hope you stay along for the ride!

The Roving Reader

I spy with my little eye the third book in a GREAT YA series making its bookshelf debut! If you know nothing of the story, you have to admit the cover is stunning.

Gillian Shields

So what caught your eye when out and about this weekend?
Do tell!

Ah, this one is out already! I'm so excited! My cousin told me to read this series and after reading the first one, I'm definitely hooked. Happy reading!

Definitely a gorgeous cover! Not sure what the book's about, but I'd definitely at least pick this one up off the shelf to read the back cover blurb!

Gina: It nevers fails. When you stop by to comment, I always do a double take...since it looks like I'm commenting on my own post. Hehe. ^_^ Nice to see you back and yes...LOVE this series, totally understand the "hooked" part.

LoriStrongin: Never heard of it? Oooh....check my review for book one in my archives for a sneak peek but trust's GOOD. ^_^

I agree that the cover is stunning - all that glitter (It is glitter isn't it?) looks so pretty.

Oooooooooo I like it. And the swirls and stuff in the background make me think of the Wings set by Aprilynne Pike.

Love this cover! I can't remember for sure, but I do think I've seen it somewhere before. Still, definitely one to be on the lookout for!
