In My Shopping Bag

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's see what's inside this week...

Review

Finding Our Way Home by Charlene Ann Baumbich

Simply beautiful cover and the story sounds like its going to be along the same lines.  I've read a few titles from this fabulous author previously and have yet to be disappointed; high hopes for this one as well!  Scheduled release for this title is March 2012.  Stay tuned for the upcoming review AND an author interview!

Amazing Ants! by Renee McCuen
(Review copy courtesy of the author)
Who says reading can't be fun AND educational?  Certainly not me.  This book takes aim at those readers just learning about the world around them and should prove to teach me a thing or two about these little critters as well.  Reminds me of the classic Magic School Bus series from the general idea....you know, Science and Reading?  This book is in stores now.

Lifting the Wheel of Karma by Paul H. Magid
(Review copy courtesy of Tribute Books Blog Tours)
Despite the heavy tone set by the title, I think this one has a lot of adventure to be discovered.  We'll see what happens.  Watch for the book tour to swing by this January!  In the mean time, this book is out and about for your reading pleasure...and don't forget to check out the official book tour blog for more information!

Bought

Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler
What can I say?  I had to rescue it from the clearance bin at our local mass merchandiser.  Looks like a cute, quick Halloween type read...and after all, Halloween does come EVERY year.  Consider me prepared.  ^_^

Received

Crossed by Ally Condie
(from my blogging bud Nayuleska)
Thoroughly enjoyed the first one, can't wait to dig into this installment!
Anyone else a fan of the series?

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

This next lot still fall under the "received" heading, simply for the fact that the package was received as opposed to requested.  I will make every effort to review a few of these as they release next year...after delving through what they're all about.  Perhaps a few new additions to add to your own wish lists?  Take a look at the ARC title selection that arrived from Viking Books and Pamela Dorman Books, both imprints of the great folks at Penguin Books USA.....

Claw Back by Mike Cooper
Blue Monday by Nicci French
...both out March 2012

A Surrey States of Affairs by Ceri Radford
...out April 2012

The Spy Who Jumped Off the Screen by Thomas Caplan
...out January 2012

Drifting House by Krys Lee
The Dark Rose by Erin Kelly
....both out February 2012

The Darlings by Cristina Alger
The Royal Wulff Murders by Keith McCafferty

Anatomy of Murder by Imogen Robertson
...out February 2012

....sorry for the lack of info on these titles, but you guys have as much as I at this point!  Still have to read through all the back covers and such... ^_^
