About the book...
Find out where the tooth fairy takes all those lost teeth in this laugh-out-loud new picture book, perfect for fans of School’s First Day of School.

Toothy lives in Liam’s mouth next to his best friend Fang. He’s a good tooth—sparkly and strong, and he loves doing the floss.

One day, Toothy notices that he is loose and panics! Where will he go after he leaves his comfy spot next to Fang? After a crunchy apple seals the deal, Toothy is tucked under Liam’s pillow. When the Tooth Fairy appears, she takes Toothy to the Museum of Lost Teeth. It’s a more incredible place than Toothy could have ever imagined. It’s filled with new friends and fun activities like Tooth or Dare! Toothy finds a new home on the Firsts Floor, where first baby teeth are proudly displayed.

In the tradition of School’s First Day of School, The Museum of Lost Teeth answers the question “Where do all the lost teeth go?” in this unexpected and hilarious picture book.

🦷   ðŸ¦·   ðŸ¦·   ðŸ¦·   ðŸ¦·   ðŸ¦·   ðŸ¦·

From cover to unde-cover, inside the cover pages to the back side cover pages, and EVERYTHING in between, this is one story that gets stuck in your teeth in the BEST way possible.  It's charming, it's witty.  It's filled with adventure for Toothy, as well as a new world of dental care for Liam.  It's educational while still being whimsical, and allowing kids to simply be kids for a while longer.  If you've ever had a question about the Tooth Fairy, all the how, why, where, and when types, this book overs in its own unique way an explanation as to their ability to get to so many teeth losers each night, what happens to the teeth left behind, and the simple fact that no tooth gets left behind!  A new adventure awaits both the tooth that has lost its owner, as well as for the owner that lost their tooth.

I love how the author approaches the topic because some wee ones can get very upset about losing a tooth.  It's not just about the payment for the lost item, but the fact that it's a slightly scary and new situation that they are trying to wrap their minds around while seemingly saying goodbye to their younger days.  With style and finesse, the author and illustrator team up to deliver a plausible after for the tooth and its buddy's, while making it clear that Liam will never forget them, but in a positive way.  The puns throughout are hilarious, adding just the right amount of humor to an already whimsical story that will cause giggles in all ages.  Special note, I mentioned the interior of the cover and back pages.  Make sure you read the letters shared by the tooth fairies!  You'll get a kick out of them.

All in all, a new way to approach the legend, and the myth, without punching holes in the glass ceiling of childhood belief.  We all know those clear walls of fascination come down at some point, but the longer they last, the more imagination can grow, and there's nothing like a bit of wishes and dreams to spice up an average day!

Time to add some SPICE to your February reading list as we feature a steamy release via Boldwood Books you won't want to miss!  It is the month of love after all...so get your wish list ready, as we dive between the epages of today's Rachel's Random Resources guest and ebook of choice...

Anyone But The Billionaire
by
Sarah L Hudson
Boldwood Books

About the book...
A steamy, hilarious read! Perfect for fans of Meghan Quinn and Penny Reid.

What happens when a New York City playboy, a Southern spitfire, and a hairless cat walk into a coffee shop?

Self-made mogul Chase Moore is a charming hound dog with a hairless cat and a family business to save.
He was fine being the spare to the heir until the family's billion-dollar business threatens to go belly-up.
Now Chase will need more than his rakish good looks to fight his father for control.
Powerhouse marketing guru Campbell King returns to Texas and launches her own company after being chewed up and spat out by the city that never sleeps,
One phone call makes all the difference when a suave and sexy male voice offers her the chance to redeem herself and help him save his swanky Manhattan store.
When the sexy redhead finally runs into her new billionaire boss, they’re both in for a shock.
But there’s no way Campbell is dating the boss. In fact, anyone but the billionaire would be better…

Previously published as A Little Moore Action by Sara L Hudson.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seriously, this one has the HUMOR and INNUENDOS going from the word go... not to mention the windows ALL fogged up!
Don't believe me?  Would you believe that a 20/30-something straight male is sitting in a park with a hairless pussy cat in his jacket, while ordering flannel shirts to keep him warmer and give him some cred?  The cat not the man because he is definitely ALL man...*ahem*...but back to those jokes, the cat is the result of an ended relationship (she cheated, he kept the cat), and he named it...Mike Hunt.  I know what you're thinking...where's the joke?  Try saying the name in your head a few times and remembering the type of animal, even the breed of animal it is.  Go ahead...I'll wait...and remember, if you're in public, the blush may cause questions!  (LOL!)  Anywho...
All joking and jokes aside, though they are aplenty and come from every angle, the story underneath all the steam is top notch.  He's trying to prove himself and make a point with "dear old dad" (said VERY sarcastically), while saving the family legacy, his sister's future, and his pride.  She's made a name in the business, but growing it further requires new clients, and this is a VERY BIG client she couldn't pass up... while leaving her past in the past.  They can keep their attraction under control, right?  I mean, they are business people, know how to play the game, know when to pursue or pull out...and I'm dropping that line of questioning now because it's getting risqué.  Chase and Campbell are a powerful duo, both in and out of the board room, and watching the sparks fly, the tension build, and their business personas battle with their emotional wildfire was too much fun!  Especially when they get the better of Stan...or even Denise...or anyone else that tries to cross their path with anything other than a team player attitude because they are in it to win it...and if lines get blurred a bit along the way, so be it! (Note to readers... they most definitely blur!)
Come for the story, stay for the laughter, and watch if you're reading by the windows because there's definitely a steam factor that won't be ignored!
AWARENESS TOUR: My Butt is So Silly! by Dawn McMillan - REVIEW + GIVEAWAY!
HI guys!
Welcome back to a special Valentine's Day celebration of bookish love, here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers
Next up on the triple post day is a Children's Storybook that lands itself squarely in the Humor section...or maybe roundly in the same section? Well, in any case, it's a giggle inducing topic to say the least, and something younger readers are sure to have a toot, I mean HOOT with. *ahem* Ladies and gents, kiddos of all shapes, sizes, and laughter styles, please join me as we welcome today's second book tour guest via The Children's Book Review and new Dover Publications title in review...
by
Dawn McMillan
Illustrated by
 Ross Kinnaird
About the book...
Everyone’s favorite character from I Need a New Butt!, I Broke My Butt!, and My Butt is So Noisy! is back in a hilarious new story about a silly butt that won’t stop moving! The talented duo of children’s author Dawn McMillan and illustrator Ross Kinnaird have created another delightful, laugh-out-loud tale of a bothersome backside that leads to all kinds of amusing adventures. The fun never stops, from the first page to the last of this newest book in the best-selling series.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This is a story that I had a hard time getting...in more ways than one...BUTT once I ruminated a little more, and found the heart through the humor, I CRACKed a smile.  I must apologize in advance because yes, there will be behind jokes in this review, BUTT how can I resist?

The young boy with the overactive behind never has a name, but I think that just makes it easier for wee ones to step right into the role of main character.  The words on the page tell of his overactive derrière as he makes his way through life.  School is that much more MUSICAL.  Home is that much more BUTT-iful.  A rainy day in the park is just that much more a-BUTT-andantly splishy and splashy.  The main gist...he's a ram-BUTT-tious young man that can't quite remain still when the situation calls for it.  It's something seen often with kids...and admit it, adults too...because sometimes we just feel that need to move, groove, and make our presence known.  It's a curious way to get the point across to the younger generation, BUTT...if it works, it works!  What IS that message?  Well, the one I took from it was that while you should always be you, silly BUTT or not, there are some times, some places where decorum and manners must rule...and then when those have PASSED, they'll still be plenty of time and ways to let your true color fly!

TCBR AWARENESS TOUR: Mightier Than the Sword AND The Edge of the Word by Drew Callander & Alana Harrison - REVIEWS + GIVEAWAY!

Hi there!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.

Today, we've joined forces with The Children's Book Review to bring front and center a FABULOUSLY FUN and EDUtaining series from Penguin Workshop!  It's a two-fer kind of post with me reviewing BOTH titles, and let me just say that I am more than excited to share them.  For those with more time on their hands right now thanks to self quarantine efforts, or for those parents looking for some way to put the FUN back in your kid's home school activities, this is a two book (thus far!) series you don't want to miss.  Ready?  Set?  Keep your pencil at hand because this story is only missing one thing at the moment and that's YOU!

Mightier Than the Sword
by
Drew Callander & Alana Harrison
Illustrated by
Ryan Andrews and YOU!
9780593093641
Penguin Workshop

About the book...
Wildly funny and inventive, this interactive book pulls you, the reader, into the action. Yes, YOU!

You wake up in the fictional land of Astorya, where stories from our world come to life. You’re a real human being (we assume), and in this fictional world, that makes you a superhero. Armed with your trusty pencil, you have the power to create: what you write, draw, or scribble in the book becomes part of the story!

Only you can rescue Prince S. from the evil Queen Rulette. Aided by the Couriers–a French stoat with dangerous dance moves, a giant dung beetle, a fire ninja, a Pegasus-centaur-cowgirl and a super-intelligent femalien chameleon—you must write, draw, and puzzle your way through a hilarious adventure and prove that the pencil is mightier than the sword.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

When it says the book pulls you in, it is SO not kidding!

Right from the start it is made clear that YOU will have a starring role to play in this story.  I'd liken it to the old school choose-your-own-adventure novels...with a modern twist!  Here, you are in charge of the story.  You decide what creature comes to your rescue.  You think up the mode of transportation that is going to get you from point A to point B.  You even take care of your lack of footwear problem...which was an unfortunate incident that left you that way, but hey...it COULD have been worse!  You wield the power with your other self in this other world and all in solidarity with your pencil in hand...you DO have your pencil at the ready, right? Because seriously, without it you might be little less than burnt toast!  Anywho...

Aside from the massive power surge at your fingertips, you make good friends along the way, grow to understand the power of words and creativity, and...oh yeah, have to face down Queen Rulette and her minions, if you want to win the day, nay save Astorya from erasure for good!  But don't worry, you've got this...and if you have half as much confidence as your other world self, you'll be just fine...hopefully...more than likely...in all probabilty...hey, I know!  Let's get to book 2, shall we?  *ahem*

The Edge of the Word
Mightier Than the Sword, Book 2
by
Drew Callander & Alana Harrison
Illustrated by
Ryan Andrews and YOU!
9781524785109
Penguin Workshop

About the book...
The exciting follow-up to Mightier Than the Sword, the humorous and fantastical interactive middle-grade novel which needs you, the reader, to get in on the action!

The second book set in Astorya places you back in the driver’s seat. You’re a real human being (we assume), and in this fictional world, that makes you a superhero. Armed with your trusty pencil, you have the power to create. What you write, draw, or scribble in the book becomes part of the story!

With Queen Rulette gone, and Astorya returning to normal, you decide to journey to Astorya’s Other Side, a place of monsters and mayhem, to hide the original Original forever. Surely nothing bad could happen to Astorya’s precious document there, right? But when the plan goes awry and digital doppelgangers are unleashed on the world, once again only you can save the day.

Write, draw, and puzzle your way through a hilarious adventure story that is unique to every reader! And, most importantly, prove that the pencil is mightier than the sword.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

This sequel picks up just after you've saved the day and the kingdom of Astorya...good thing to since you wrote it into existance, right?  Or wait, you will if you ever get back home and remember who you are and send the Original back in time to create the land you are currently in...and I'm getting myself lost and ahead of myself at the same time.  Oye!  Back on track...

Where book one was educational and punny, book two is equally so!  What?  I didn't mention that in my notes up there?  *scrolls up*  Okay, so I didn't, but it doesn't make it any less true.  Readers will be so lost (in a good way!) in the story, they'll never know that they are building their vocabulary, branching out into other languages, studying up on language arts, and building a repertoire of puns that will rival that of the punniest person on earth!  (If you know who that is, than read these and out pun them this instant!)  The mad lib type add ins, the drawing interludes, they all work together to insert you in the story once again (which shouldn't be a surprise since you are the star after all!), and make it a memorable journey from start to book finish!
