In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag". (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's see what's inside this week...

Review
Euphemania: Our Love Affair with Euphemisms by Ralph Keyes
(courtesy of Little Brown and Company / Hachette Book Group)
You may have noticed that every now and then a nerdy wordy book appears in my "now reading" pile...what can I say, I've always loved learning something new even when it's about something we take for granted. This book is scheduled for release December 14th, 2010...and look for your chance to win a copy coming soon!
Horns by Joe Hill
(courtesy of HarperCollins)
Perhaps not the most seasonal of reads however it's upcoming paperback release on March 8th, 2011 does warrant a heralding of sorts (though probably not of the angel variety from the title there)....plus that cover....CREEPY! Can't wait. Watch for a giveaway with this title coming your way soon...
Blood, Bones, and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton
(ARC courtesy of Random House Publishing Group)
This was an unexpected arrival as I hadn't requested it, but I have seen mention of it online several times over recently so I am curious to see what it holds. My ARC cover (as shown above) is certainly different than the actual cover, but I think I prefer the quotes to the chicken head. O_O This little foodie beauty is scheduled for release March 1st, 2011.

Giving Thanks: A Native American Good Morning Message by Chief Jake Swamp
(from Hannah at LEE and Low Books)
This was a wonderful little surprise to find in my mailbox along with the accompanying letter of thanks. Can anyone see a future post for this title fitting perfectly into the holiday season we are currently in? I can. ^_^

That's all for this week!
What did YOU get?

I like the sound of Giving Thanks! I hope you enjoy all your books this week :)
Giving Thanks looks great and Horns looks scary! Eeck!
Slow week for me, only a couple of books, but that's okay...you need one or two of those now and then. ;o)
What a cool array :) Love it!
