Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week...a book that celebrates life; every single moment of it. It's a heart warming and breaking tale thus far and I can only imagine where it will take me in days to come. Here's a taste to warm your soul...

Twelve Months
by
As her watering eyes read the final verse, the musician stopped playing, the restaurant went silent and I went down on one knee. I opened the ring box.-- pg 97
On Sunday morning, on bended knees, instead of pleading for a cure or more time, I gave thanks for all the goodness in my life. It's the strangest thing, but I felt so much closer to God by saying thank you instead of begging please.-- pg 185
As you can see, there are moving moments to be had throughout the story. Some I'm certain are going to bring a tear to my eye while others a cheesy smile but you know what? That's life; the bitter and the sweet. Enjoying the read thus far as well as the narrative style (it feels like the main character [Don] is speaking directly to you).

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Grab your current read
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Until next time....happy reading!

Wow. Those are lovely :)
I haven't heard of this book- but the quotes are great. It does sound like a book that would make me shed some tears!
