About the author...
Cindy Wang Brandt is the author of Parenting Forward: How to Raise Children with Justice, Mercy, and Kindness. She is the host of Parenting Forward podcast and the Parenting Forward conference. About the illustrator...
Lynnor Bontigao has loved drawing ever since she was a young child in the Philippines. Lynnor is also the illustrator of Jack & Agyu, written by Justine Villanueva. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and won the 2020 SCBWI Tomie dePaola Professional Development Award. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, two kids, and one tiny dog.
