Such is the experience I had this morning when going through my Twitter page posts (say that ten times fast!)...The Bookworms Carnival has landed LIVE on A Bibliophile's Bookshelf blog! Now if that sounded like Greek to you, don't worry, I'm still explaining...read on, read on....
The Bookworms Carnival was set up to help the book blogging community build out their network and spread the word about fantastic books! The 34th Edition focused on Young Adult Fantasy, and if you are a frequent visitor to my blog, you probably have noticed quite a few of my own reviews and wanderings tend to stray into this genre. That being said, when submissions were requested for inclusion, I was eager to participate. I sent in one or two crossing my fingers that they may end up being chosen...but not holding my breath (hey, my blog is still taking baby steps compared to some and I don't think blue is a good facial color).
Bright eyed and bushy tailed...okay, running late, and finally catching up on Twitter feeds, I see the LIVE link to the posting and TADA! I'm listed! Yay me and my little book blog! (insert imaginary video of a happy dance here...) Not one to toot my own horn (for long at least), I must say that there were several other blogs and books listed as well that were either on my TBR (to be read) list or have now newly migrated to it. I just love the fact that sites like these make it that much easier to share good books read, recommendations for future reads, and friendly conversation on much loved topics!
Feel free to leave your comments and feedback!
Until next time...happy reading!
