This is the story of little Brian, who wants to be taller than the sun...not an impossible task, exactly, but not an easy one either.  His park ponderings take him on a mission to see just how he can accomplish this out if this world task.  He discovers the pyramids and their history.  He uncovers Mount Everest and the heights he could reach there.  He thinks he may have found the solution, only to have his little playground friend burst his happy little bubble with a reality check.  Nothing on earth can be taller than the sun...or can it?  You see, dear old dad is crafty, yet sweet, and when put to the task, he just might have the solution to not only the question at hand, but mending a little boy's dreams.

Honestly, this was a remarkable little story, which I loved the back story to as well as it stemmed from a real life experience the author had while camping with his own child, that will really have kiddos reaching for the stars!  Some quite literally too!  It's always great when we can encouragement a child's curiosity, expand their knowledge, and grow their world, but it's even better when the spark comes from within.  Those are the sparks that burn brightest and can last a lifetime!  So whether a bedtime read, a home school selection, or rainy day story time pick, this is definitely a story that can be enjoyed on many levels with wonderful outcomes!

About the author...

A tech marketer and entrepreneur by day - a writer and musician by night, Dolev started writing children’s books after his first child was born, as his children provide endless sources of inspiration. Their imagination takes him back to when he was a kid, connecting between unrelated things and blending them into a story. As a parent, he uses the same method in his stories, each time with a different message that will help children overcome the obstacles of life they have to cope with.
