What a pair!

He's the ever attentive uncle to a precocious but lovely eight year old, puts others first pretty much always, and is desperately trying to change the town's image of him. Grant it, he doesn't mind being the most eligible bachelor per se, but he wants to be taken more seriously, and show everyone what he can do... outside of filing it a three piece suit OH so well. She's the daughter that never quite fit in with her family, developed issues related to marriage turning her personal choice against it, is helping change the world for those in need by empowering them to change their own world, and has some magically tinged ability to match people with their true love. Both have issues; both have potential. Oh, and did I mention the chemistry? Let's just say, things get rather interesting when they stop looking for reasons they shouldn't be together, and start reaching for those they should. 😉

It's a delightful story with enough love, enough humor, enough good will, and smexy times to go around. The "meet cute" moment was definitely hotter than most, but hey... what do you expect when a guy wakes up from a close visit to death's door, and his longtime crush has taken up residence in his home? Sparks fly, understandings are reached, and walls are broken down... but don't think it's smooth sailing from there. No siree! Some less than blatantly obvious cowboy didn't choose his words wisely, nor were his actions speaking the right language, and things start going south in a hurry. Hang in there my fellow HEA fans, all is not lost!

A great read for romance and western romance fans alike, adults and up... and you can bet I'll be watching for the next story to come out of Windsong!
