Hear ye, hear ye.
Gather round for a tale of dashing, of daring, of offered games of hide-and-seek with a larger than life friendship...that was turned down by a newcomer in a shiny tin can costume? That can't be right. I mean, it's DRAGON! Our love for her is legend, her friendliness is the source of many a troubadour's song, and her circle of friends as wide and varied as they come. No, I refuse to belief someone would say no to all that gentle giant-ness, and so we set out to sort out fact and folklore with today's AWARENESS TOUR guest and ebook of choice...

About the book...
In this most recent tale in Clever’s beloved Dragon series, a new knight has come to town! Sir Fiero wears smooth, shiny armor and has a sparkling silver sword. Dragon wants to be friends with him and invites him to play. But Sir Fiero doesn’t believe that dragons and knights can be friends—or can they? A sweet tale of friendship and challenging stereotypes.

So, it turns out someone DOES have the audacity to turn down a fabulous game of hide-and-seek, and the friendship of our beloved Dragon. If you haven't met her yet, I highly recommend checking out the other books in the series, and you'll have her character down pat, and feel just as welcomed into her circle of friends as the shiny newcomer in this story COULD, if he'll only give her a chance. I get it, he grew up with certain ideals, certain set expectations, but nothing is simply black and white, and scaly doesn't mean bad, whereas shiny automatically means good. Sometimes, we need a mix of both to discover the beauty and wonder of it all. Sometimes, we get the most beautiful outcome by learning to take others as they are not as they might be portrayed. Dragon isn't like every other dragon, nor is the princess like every other princess...and, as we come to see, the little newcomer knight isn't just like every other night. When push comes to shove, Dragon helps shed some light on the topic by being her true self...and she helps the little knight discover just who he wants to be.
A fun, and fabulous new addition to the Dragon series for readers young and young at heart. It reminds us what being a friend truly means, that being yourself is the only way to be, and that those whom you'd want in your inner circle will accept you for YOU. The colorful illustrations tantalize the eye, and the interactive aspect of the story telling invites readers to participate along the way much to everyone's delight, making it a great pick for story time in the classroom as well as at home. A series I would highly recommend to storybook fans of all ages!
