Hi guys and gals!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.
Today, we're "taking flight" with The Children's Book Review as they tour the blogosphere with author Brooke Hartman. Two of her titles are making their way out there as we speak (so be sure to check out the rest of the tour for the other title and more!), and today....I've got my review spotlight trained on one high flying adventure! It features to sisters, excuse me...PEGA sisters, and their time spent at camp, as well as a few growing pains that those with siblings are bound to relate to. Ready or not, here comes today's title in the spotlight and ebook of choice...

About the book...
Lilly has waited for this day all year: It’s Pegasus Camp! And it’s finally here!
But this year, Lilly’s little sister, Filly, is tagging along. And wherever Lilly goes, Filly’s right under hoof, turning rainbow leaping, mane braiding, and cake baking into crashing, tangling, splattering messes! When Lilly’s temper finally snaps, Filly canters sadly away. Lilly wanted her Pega Sister to go―so why can she no longer have any fun without her?
Anyone with siblings will knowingly smile and roll their eyes, and all readers will laugh along with this rollicking, punny summer camp romp, which also serves as a sparkling reminder that sisters make the most marvelous magic together.

This was an adorable rhyming storybook featuring two super excited pega sisters ready for a great summer camp adventure! Lilly knows just what to expect because it's a return trip for her, but Filly, her little sis, is going for the first time...and she wants nothing more than to have a blast with her big sis. Yeah, about that...you see, Lilly loves Filly, but she's not as experienced, a bit more colorful, and a lot more accidentally clumsy than her or her friends, making it a tight fit as stress levels run high. In fact, one day...they boil over, and Lilly simply cannot take it any more. She ends up hurting Filly's feelings, but when push comes to shove, she knows just what to do to try and make it right again, like any good sibling would. It's not about being perfect or always reacting correctly to the unknown. It's about growing together, learning what that new relationship looks like as you get older, and cherishing those we hold dear in our hearts.
With lovely illustrations and a spot on feel for sibling squabbles, this is one book that's a good fit for the tall to the small, the two footed to the four hoofed among us.

What with unicorns being so hugely popular at the moment makes this book something of a winner. That it has hoof turning, rainbow leaping, mane braiding, and cake baking into crashing, tangling, splattering messes ... Well, what can I say! It sounds like such a fun read.
