This story was so sweet, so festive, so hearts and holiday infused, you simply can't miss it. Kevin and Hilary are in first Christmas together and wedding prep mode, meaning the whole of his family at least is involved... and while Hilary is a force, there are other sparks flying. Lucy is the little sister all grown up, and Chase is the long time BFF of her big brother just back in town... can we see where the potential couple might be? 😌 

Yeah, well that makes two of us because the family, as loving as they are, and Hilary, are totally invested...in Emily and Chase. Who is she? Exactly. No, no, I'm kidding...sort of. She's sweet to Hilary's not so much, and her BFF, but anyone with eyes 👀 can see what's brewing between Chase and Lucy. Alas, blinders are a choice to be worn, but when they come off, fireworks often follow!

I won't spoil the fun, but trust me, it's a closed door, sweet as a candy cane cocoa 😋 ♥️ holiday romance you HAVE to read! Here, we have the classic drama that comes with a wedding...multiplied by five.  Why five?  Because that's the bride's lucky number, and that's how many bridesmaids she decided to have.  Because these are five ladies from somewhat different times of her life that are now being pushed together, come what may.  Because Tori, being kinda sorta the outsider of the group, happens to notice things that while possibly apparent to the group anyway, are glaringly obvious to her...and we're not talking about a hair out of place, or a falling hemline.  No, we're talking about secrets that would upset a normal day, let alone a wedding party, and they do say they always have a way of coming out.  Think it'll be at the right time?  Yeah...I wouldn't hold my breath.

Outside the drama unfolding from all those secrets, we have a new one in development between Tori and Tyler.  He's the jackhat with the ginormous truck that parks so close she may get streaks of grease on her white ensemble the first event of the many to come.  He's the one that will be an annoying, if handsome, thorn in her side with his flirty ways, and gain her the dirty glares of another member of the wedding party.  He's also the one that just might wear he walls down, sneak behind her defenses, and make her ask...what if.  I mean just because Tori said she wasn't looking for love, it doesn't mean it's not looking for her.  It could happen....

Couldn't resist the segue there, but you catch my meaning.  The will they, won't they keeps things afloat throughout the story without being overbearing.  I mean, we didn't need a huge amount of additional drama because HELLO...there was definitely enough of that to go around.  I will say that I feel for the friendships ended, or at least interrupted, but the main ones involved really should have thought about things before going forward with only themselves in mind.  That's my piece, and that's the end of that.  Suffice it to say, if you like clean Contemporary Romance, and a healthy dose of drama, along with a few laughs along the way, this is definitely one to have on your radar!
