Good morning (or whatever time it is where you are), everyone!
Welcome to another installment of Taste Testing Tuesdays here at Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers! Taste Testing Tuesdays was inspired by 'Teaser Tuesdays', a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
On the menu this week...one book that'll be stopping by for a blog tour later this week (yes, I'm still reading the book....but no worries! I'll be done in plenty of time...).
Ready for a tastey sample? Here it is....

"You know this is probably a trap," Holgar called after her."Life's a trap," Jenn replied, and put on a burst of speed."Well, we're cheerful tonight," he said, smiling wryly.-- pg 168, Damned (Crusade, book 2) by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie (ARC)
I came across this line just yesterday and it just struck me as the PERFECT selection for a teaser post. Seriously, it fits the moment just right with enough comedic timing to make you chuckle despite the dire straights the Salamancan team is up against at this particular part of the book. Exciting, dangerous, and heavy in so many ways, this addition to the series is holding up well to all book one began. Stay tuned for the blog tour later this week where not only will you get to see my review (cuz I know you're dying to...hehe) but there's an interview with the fab ladies behind the series and trust me when I say, it's too fun to miss. (No really, trust me....I just read it the other day and their answers are a hoot!)

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
*Open to a random page
*Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
*Share the title & author, too, so that other participants can add the book to their TBR.*

Until next time....happy reading!
