Hallo, Hallo!!!
Ooh, have you read anything by Laura Scott!? I spent the month of July focusing on reading for pleasure w/o worrying over if I ought to be reading whilst thinking about how I wanted to share my readings with my readers/visitors. You know, how we all used to read before we were book bloggers!? lol She writes a lot of lovely stories under the #LoveINSPIRED Suspense imprint of Harlequin!? Specifically the Callahan Confidential series?!
I encouraged my Mum to read these novels whilst she was on breaks during her 12hr shifts - it helped her get some down-time but it really inspired her to get back her reading life! That was the best benefit I felt!! This July was my first chance to get into the books myself - as we thrift them locally whilst we borrow the missing books in sequence through our library's ILL services.
Long story short!? As I was looking over her website this Summer, I noticed this new series! I truly love her writing style and this is definitely one I want to be reading! When I can - as I tend to request my max (5) of books each month at the library, I'll submit this one!!!
If you like Romantic Suspense novels but like them to have endings which make you feel uplifted whilst the suspenseful bits hold you on the edge of your seat, try the imprint I mentioned!! Or you can find the post(s) I wrote in July - there is a Sunday Post where I talked about a lot of them! I need to write a second Sunday Post to reflect the final books I read. We've had so many lightning storms I've never had the chance to finalise one! :(
I love how this series is about an Irish family!!! The first Irish saga I loved dearly was by Julie Lessman!!
Thanks for spotlighting this one!! Made me swoon over the possibilities of what I'll find inside it!! Happy readings if you get the chance to get into this one yourself!!
