From the founding member of Grammy Award-winning country music
band Little Big Town, discover the heartwarming true story of a family's
Christmas miracle. Cover includes sparkly Christmas glitter!
All Daisy wants for Christmas is a little brother or sister. Her parents have
tried everything to make her dream come true, but nothing is working. So Daisy
takes matters into her own hands, praying every day and writing a letter to
Santa Claus about her one and only wish.
Daisy's parents are touched by her strong belief and grateful for her help, but
as they explain, sometimes you have to wait. God will give you the
perfect gift when the time is right.
In this heartwarming holiday tale, Kimberly Schlapman shares the true story of
the Christmas when her family became whole.
🎄 🎁 🎄 🎁 🎄
Daisy is a very special child. You see, there's only one thing she wants for Christmas and it's the same thing that her parents have been trying really hard for for quite some time. Is it a bike? No. Is it a pony? Don't think so. Is it the latest video gaming system, newest electronic device, or high dollar item being hocked on the commercial you are currently ignoring on the television? Nope, certainly not. No...what Daisy wants most is a baby brother or sister. Thing is, her parents have tried traditional means, and medicinal methods, but nothing has worked thus far. The only thing left is a miracle...and perhaps with a little nudge from a heartfelt little girl's wish, it just might come true.
The illustrations are gorgeous. The story is heartfelt. The feelings come through loud and clear from page to page as the family struggles with their circumstances, and try to find hope in what seems like a lost cause. I loved little Daisy and her pure desire for a lifelong companion, a friend, a sibling that she would be able to help take care of and would grow in her heart as they grew hand in hand. She was a sweetheart and would never give up, just like her adoring parents. To add the cherry on top of this already desirable story sundae...finding out this charming tale was based on a true story, just added that little something extra to the magic within.
So experience Christmas through a child's eyes, filled with hope, wonder, and magic...but not for something that comes from a store....but rather something that comes from the heart.
