I admit, I WAS GETTING A BIT SPOOKED 👻 because some of the figures portrayed are pretty CREEPY, but as the story progresses, Grandma is there to set things to right and dispel any questionable shadows, or creaks in the night!

It's a great tale to share with the kiddos BECAUSE of the creep factor, but also the way it's handled. The author allows the children to let their imaginations fly free, creating a story that's got all the elements readers look for...a great story, characters you want to know, and illustrations that really capture your eye 👁. You'll be pulled in to see all the ghosts, and goblins scattered about the house, both inside and out, including a particularly hairy fellow in a yellow raincoat, but not to worry, but book's end the truth of their presence will be revealed.

A great pick for wee readers and beyond! It's a story meant to shared, a tale meant to excite, rile up the nerves, but ultimately remind young ones that imaginations are wonderful things... just don't let them turn your fun into dread!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stephen G. Bowling is an award-winning author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Much like Peter Pan, Steve never wanted to grow up. Or rather, while he didn’t mind getting older, he never wanted to lose the child-like enchantment of imagination and wonder. Creating colorful worlds and stories for children has allowed Steve to both preserve his own imagination while sharing the joy of learning with children worldwide.

Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brandeis University. He is an entrepreneur who has worked on and holds several U.S. Patents. He heads The Prometheum Foundation, a non-profit philosophical organization that helps teach students critical and analytical thinking, freedom of thought, and entrance into the marketplace of ideas. He is a lifelong weightlifter, an avid student of history and philosophy, and has a fascination with astrophysics.
