OH my word!

I've loved this author's previous works, but this one may be my most favorite of them thus far.  The characters are totally believable, their drama relatable, and the sizzle palpable from the start!  It may have started as a supposedly one sided crush with an ill timed teenage insult thrown in to stir up the works, but it's grown from pranks to ultimate high stakes with the winner taking all!  What's on the line?  The most important thing of all...their hearts...but it'll totally be worth it.  Gremlin and The Prince of Darkness were totally meant to be...but it's the getting there that'll definitely send readers into overdrive!  Learning their backstory made us able to connect with them even more.  Seeing them in human situations made you feel like they could be your best friends.  Watching the brother sister relationship play out (payback and all!) whilst dancing around the best friend and little sister attraction (though they both doth protest WAY too much!) was so good for my heart.  When THE dare was laid out, I had a feeling there was no backing down to be had, but the gumption Nina had to see it through...let's just say no one is going to call her a coward in any sense of the word (and Tristan will definitely never see her the same! *swoon*).

If you love enemies to lovers, brother's best friend, and forced proximity romcom goodness, this is one story not to be missed.  If you love holiday hi jinks and mutual attraction that crackles and sparks like the brightest of Christmas displays, this will keep you in stitches, while making your heart smile.  If you simply love a great way to escape between the pages, the chance to get lost in a story, and enjoy well written works, I highly recommend you check out this author's body of works.  They are always a treat, delivering more than promised, and leave you anticipating what she'll release next!

She needed an escape from her everyday struggles, and when a curious paperback shows up with amazing properties that seem too good to be true, you can't help but wish alongside her. When the dreams become more than dreams, you can't help but want it to last, but worry it won't. The thing is, it's not just improbable, it seems unlikely, but aren't those the same worries, in a matter of speaking, that every day couples encounter too? So perhaps the questionable factors aren't whether his existence is real, but if their connection can carry from page to reality. 

Buckle in for a roller coaster of emotion, and be prepared to fall in love with another fictional boyfriend because whether Killian or Oswald,  the man has talent, charisma, charm, and of so much heart. A great read for Contemporary Romance readers, and those that like a little bookish magic in their love stories.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... another winner from Camilla Isley, romcom writer extraordinare! 👏 

Reese is smart and charming. I loved getting her take on things before she had all the info in hand because her genius would come up with some doozies! Thomas is an unexpected breath of fresh air with character... and yes, I meant it the way I typed it. 😅  Easy on the eyes not so much on the ego, but his future and hers should come with some yield signs because business and pleasure shouldn't mix. Right?! Anyway, it could have been a simple billionaire romance,  but where's the fun in that? 😉 We get the workplace romance, and enemies to lovers tropes, all tied up in one for a story that draws the heart and the mind towards a happily-ever-after you'll be dying to read. 

A great pick for Romance fans that love a Contemporary story to while away a weekend!

Anywho, one wedding announcement later, and Lori and Jace are presenting an unexpected, but united front to face the music... and falling in love along the way. It's sweet, funny, heartfelt with just the perfect amount of spice, you'll be laughing as much as you're sighing with every turn of the page.

Once upon a time, she offered her heart on a platter... only to have it unexpectedly returned to sender. True, they were teenagers, and it was a classic prom night scenario, but that didn't excuse the damages left behind. Flash forward 16 years and you've got a meet-not-so-cute in the making that you'd never anticipate... with twists and turns along the way to complicate things even further. 

Marissa had a right to bear the grudge she carried...what John did back then was inexcusable. In the light of day so many years later and with an explanation delivered as to why it happened, I gotta say... she took it better than I would have. I suppose what they say about love being blind certainly applies to the blinders we place on our hearts when feelings run high, but while Marissa may have been willing to forgive on the surface, she certainly wasn't forgetting, and when things get further out of control, it'll all come down to trust, and, ultimately, love. Watching the feelings they had back then reignite was heartwarming, as was the author's reigned in approach to their potential reconciliation. It had just enough of a ring of truth to be believable without sacrificing the comedic aspect of the story. 

By book's end, readers get the happy ending they've been waiting for, but the hope, what, and why of it all is a lightly cloaked mystery you'll have to uncover! Great pick for fans of the author's previous works, as well as Romcom readers looking for a new name to add to their reading rotation.

Being there for her sister was more important than the ridicule she'd gave, but it didn't make it any easier to face. Luckily, she wasn't alone...

Enter Archie Hill... perpetually single man, not exactly a womanizer, but never afraid of a few nights stand... that's about to have a mic drop moment of the heart. Oh, I know what you're thinking, once a playboy, always a playboy, but Archie isn't that simple. He plays the game, but not games, if you know what I mean. 😉 When he runs across Summer, it's a repeat of his intro to Winter, except with quite a few more sparks that are returning fire whether she wants them to or not. Their arrangement was mutually beneficial, but the ways of the heart are a mystery, and you often find what you weren't looking for, when you've stopped looking. 

A great addition to the growing series with smiles, laughs, and sparks to boot! Keep those summer days rolling with this great addition to your reading list!

We begin with an unusual meet cute...a naked man, yelling at a monkey 🐒, while holding a banana...in the hopes of bartering for his cell phone. 😜 Yup. I kid you not... and we keep things rolling with an official introduction shortly thereafter, where she learns he's the lead on her latest photo expedition, and he learns she's the distraction, I mean, photographer on his man filled expedition. I loved her character and I loved his character! They were both memorable for their own reasons, and perfectly capable in their own, but work oh so well together that you couldn't help but hope, wonder, and nervously sit on edge. Though a serious quest for a city of gold, humor, and flirtatious moments abound...as does unexpected danger! Seriously guys, you'll be suspicious, but never guess what's about to go down... though what's starting to unfold between Logan and Winter is anything but a cold shoulder!

So pack the bug spray, and don your best trekking shoes...or don't because this adventure is starting in your mind's eye, but that doesn't make it any less memorable, any less exciting, or any less SQUEE worthy 😀 when things eventually come to a hoped for end!

The STEM angle made sure we had a leading lady who knew a thing or two more than how to dress to impress, and which fork to use. The Hollywood angle gave us the chance to live out any movie star dreams vicariously once the big reveal occurs, while getting to know the man behind the paparazzi pics. The fact that he was able to be an average Joe for awhile was priceless. The chance for her to find her footing after such an upheaval was worth all the closeted tears...or rather tears in the closet while contemplating every mistake and wrong choice made. If you've ever wondered what it would look like if these world's collided, now is your chance, and, if I might add, with mighty fine results!

A great add to your summer of love reading list to while away a sunny day, or pass a rainy afternoon.
