Are you an avid reader looking for your next "fix"? Can't bear to be without some form of reading material in your spare time? Welcome to my world! Whether you are seeking a new book to "feed your need", or you are an author seeking an unbiased point of view on your own recent masterpiece, this is the place to be. With life as with books, you never know where the next step might take you...
So, QUICK NOTE...posts may not be on schedule or complete for a few days. We're right in the path of Hurricane Michael (like so many others), and with work demanding more of my time (and off time), plus house preps and who knows what going to happen in the next 24-48 hours, reading and blogging (as much as I adore it) had to take a back burner. My apologies to any tours or promised review dates...I'll get them back on track ASAP. Hopefully, I"ll be able to update this message with a "hey, it's all good" and continue on with no issues, but in the mean time, stay safe, and happy reading!

The Roving Reader

Was just walking along the YA aisle and this little beauty jumped off the shelf at me...

THE LYNBURN LEGACY, BOOK 1:
UNSPOKEN
by
Sarah Rees Brennan

...pretty cool, right?
Curious where that gate leads..

So what did you discover when out and about this weekend?
Do tell!

I don't know...this one looks a little ominous to me. Something about iron gates just strikes me as creepy.

Oh! I love this! I actually have a review copy on my Nook I should read soon. Sarah Rees Brennan is supposed to be a phenomenal author, though I haven't read anything of hers yet. Soon! :o)

Loving the cover. For some reason it puts me in mind of Heck:Where the Bad Children Go by Dale E. Basye.

To judge a book by its cover...you have intrigued me. I like the look of this. Time to seek it out and see if the synopsis grabs me as well as the cover.

Thanks. :)

Juju: DEFINITELY. Also, my camera sorta crapped out on me with the pic. It's much shinier and brighter!

Alexia561: Dun Dun DUN DUN... ^_^

the1stdaughter: Have heard much the same though haven't sampled her work myself yet either. ^_^

Petty Witter: You know, you're right! Totally seeing it now!

Okie: I know, it's what we try NOT to do....but the point of this post is to spark the curiosity with those books that jumped off the shelf at us in passing. ^_^ Happy seeking!
